Nobody can take his place for granted: Constantine

first_imgMumbai, May 22 (PTI) Indian football coach Stephen Constantine today stressed on the need to have intense competition for places in the team, adding no individual can take his spot for granted. The national team camp for the forthcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Kyrgyz Republic kicked off here. Players from Mohun Bagan and JSW Bengaluru FC, will, however, be reporting to the camp in stage 2 after finishing their respective AFC Cup club commitments. “We are looking always for competition and nobody in the team can be assured of their places in the squad,” Constantine said. “We need to ensure that everyone stays in good condition as they have had a very long season. We expect one or two players to be carrying some niggles and we need to look after them,” he added. The squad will be training here for the next fortnight where they also play Nepal in an international friendly at the Andheri Sports Complex on June 6. The match against Kyrgyz Republic is slated to be played at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on June 13. “There are newcomers in the side including eight U-22 players. We have selected the players on basis of their club performances. “The players need to possess the character which we are looking for as the willingness to do the work is of paramount importance,” Constantine stated. Kontron: Qseven-Q7AMX8X module with quad core i.MX8X for IoT and industry 4.0

first_img Continue Reading Previous IAR Systems and Secure Thingz launch Embedded Trust and C-TrustNext Rohde & Schwarz presents innovative T&M equipment for embedded systems Kontron announces the new Qseven-Q7AMX8X module, which is characterized by its low power consumption and, thanks to the powerful NXP i.MX8X processor in dual-core and quad-core configuration respectively, it is ideally suited as a basis for networked terminals in industrial applications. The new Qseven module is designed for use in the extended temperature range from -40 to +85°C and is therefore also suitable for use in machines and devices that have to withstand harsh industrial environments. The new Qseven-Q7AMX8X will be available in three standard versions: with the QuadX+, the DualX+ and the DualX processor, up to four Cortex A35 cores, clocked up to 1.2 GHz. An additional Cortex-M4 core can be used for smaller management tasks in the system that previously required a separate controller. The new Qseven module will be on display at embedded world 2019 at Kontron’s booth. The new module in the Qseven form factor with the dimensions 70x70mm offers the possibility to operate two displays. An HDMI and a dual-channel LVDS interface are available for this purpose. The equipment also includes up to three GB LPDDR4 memory, one Gigabit Ethernet port, up to three PCI Express and five USB 2.0 ports as well as one USB 3.0 port. Between 2 and 64GB eMMC 5.0 flash memory serve as mass storage. In addition, the Qseven-Q7AMX8X module has a SDIO card slot and a serial interface. With numerous additional interfaces, the module can be used according to individual requirements, including one I2S, one I2C, one SPI, two MIPI CSI, eight GPIO and one CAN interface. Uboot serves as boot loader, a board support package for Yocto Linux is available. The Qseven-Q7AMX8X module optionally supports the Kontron APPROTECT security solution powered by Wibu-Systems. A security chip from Wibu-Systems, embedded as a fixed part of the system, in combination with a software framework specially developed for this chip, prevents reverse engineering and copying attempts from the user’s own IP address as well as from a third-party software. Kontron APPROTECT Licensing also allows individual application functions, e.g. for demo purposes, to be available only for a time based trial version or based on time base, by counting executions.Share this:TwitterFacebookLinkedInMoreRedditTumblrPinterestWhatsAppSkypePocketTelegram Tags: Boards & Modules last_img read more
